Settlement period for theft

After stealing a vehicle, the insured must receive a settlement offer from the insurer within 30 days. The amount of compensation is the estimated value of the vehicle during flight. If, after this period of 30 days, the vehicle is recovered, the insured can choose between:

-Keep compensation from the insurer and give the vehicle

-Recover the vehicle and refund the compensation to the insurance company. Where appropriate and subject to the safeguards in the contract the insurer will take over the repairs necessary for its restoration.

Namely: if the vehicle is recovered before payment of compensation, it must be based on the amount of any necessary repairs.

Settlement period for property damage

In case of damage the delays are different. Indeed, the insurer then has three months (from the claim) to make a settlement offer. The compensation must then be paid within a month.

Where a claim is caused by a natural disaster, the regulation of the latter must be made within 3 months following the publication of the interministerial decree in the Official Gazette.

Settlement period for personal injury

In this case the insured should receive an offer of settlement from its insurer within eight months after the disaster instant credit report. If the insured dies after the disaster, his beneficiaries should receive a settlement offer from the insurer within the same after their claim. The compensation must then be paid within a month.

Non-compliance with these deadlines

If the insurer does not meet the deadlines related to the settlement offer and the settlement itself, the insured may consider legal action. Indeed, if the settlement offer was not made within the period, the compensation due interest income on the basis of twice the legal interest rate. Interest is calculated from the expiry of the deadline until actual settlement of the claim or the final judicial decision.

If the payment of compensation is not made within the time allowed, the compensation also produces interest:

-Based on the guideline plus 50% during first 2 months after the deadline,

-On the basis of twice the legal rate after expiry of 2 months.

SunPartner, a start-up of Aix-en-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhone) specializes in solar energy, has signed a partnership with the Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) to develop and build a demonstrator of the second generation of photovoltaic power plant at low concentration. SunPartner has already shown with the development by its subsidiary Wysips a transparent film photovoltaics to recharge his mobile in the sun.

The project developed by its subsidiary Axiosun with CEA and one of its laboratories, the Institute Liten, specializing in new energy and nanotechnology, will compete with conventional photovoltaic market is now taken in a squeeze between fierce competition from China and declining subsidies in France and other European countries.

"The solar modules are not the optimal solution. Concentration yields lower costs by 20% to the cost of panels Chinese "and thus become competitive, says Ludovic Deblois, the founding president of SunPartner. Photovoltaic power plants developed by Axiosun make it possible to focus with concave mirrors up to 12 times the sun's rays, which reduces the cell size implemented for the same energy. In addition, advance Ludovic Deblois, these modules retain a high yield of about 19%, despite the increase in temperature due to the concentration, whereas with the standard modules, the yield decreases by 1 or 2% per degree additional.

Reduce costs

Axiosun is positioned in the segment of small and medium power (to drive a company, a village or small town) in area to strong sunlight.

He installed the first plant at low concentration in France in Saint-Cannat near Aix-en-Provence and two in Morocco. The issue of partnership with the CEA signed for three years with a budget of 2.2 million is to improve the technology. The objective is to achieve a cost per kWh up to 40% lower than with a central ground to conventional panels. One key is the development of a manufacturing process to local costs well below Chinese costs by investing ten times lower.

The project is part of the proposed City of energies, initiated earlier this year by CEA Cadarache, near Aix-en-Provence. This platform of several dozen hectares is home to companies that CEA helps innovate and where demonstrators can be built. Axiosun going to make a pilot. Eight other partnerships have been forged by the CEA for a total of 26 million euros, including a solar desalination unit developed with Veolia.

"Our bet is that innovation makes it possible to reduce costs at all stages of production, to make solar competitive," says Pierre Joubert, head of the antenna to the direction of technological research, CEA Cadarache. "On the technology concentration, there is no viable competitors. Our goal is to develop a sector in France. "

To guard against the resurgence of robberies and burglaries, petty traders are increasingly likely to opt for these cases of a new genus. Invented some twenty years in Sweden, one in 3000 has settled in France. Since banks and hypermarkets are equipped with powerful anti-theft devices to protect themselves, offenders are folded over the shops, where people pay in cash.

According to the Confederation of tobacconists, which represents 28,000 professionals in France, 1,176 tobacconists have been leveled at their institution at least once in 2011. With 95% of payments made in cash and hundreds of transactions per day, bakeries are also at the forefront.

This benefits two leading suppliers of anti-steering boxes, Swedish and German CashGuard Wincor Nixdorf, which both claim the leading position in France. CashGuard has already installed 687 systems in France, with 170 orders for the first half of 2012, according to Laurent Jamin, director of the French subsidiary of the company while Wincor Nixdorf, associated with the French Gervais WTO celebrated in Paris in mid-December the hundredth bakery equipped its devices.

More efficient, hygienic

These boxes which have the appearance of a large piggy bank are placed on the counter or directly integrated into the cash desk. And calculates the machine makes the currency in a time close to the second. The principle is simple: once the price announced by the merchant, the customer slips his coins in a slot or a note inserted in a swallower that detects and filters out spurious, all landing in a sealed box quick payday loan.

In addition to safety, this system has the advantage of eliminating any errors in cash and allow an immediate calculation of the recipe. The currency board is closed, no employee has access to cash which prevents internal theft faced by all traders. They generally find an increase in their sales after the installation of these machines. These boxes are also hygienic: the sellers no longer have to handle cash and food. If these smart boxes and inviolable may discourage some robbers, they have a cost. With the purchase, depending on the model and the management software you choose, it takes between 20,000 and 25,000 euros while in rent, the daily cost between 20 and 30 euros.

For Carole Poulain, who owns a bakery in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, this device has made an improvement in the management of his business every day. But the customers they meet there? "If initial attempts are a little hesitant, customers get used to it and take the hand" recognizes the owner. This new automated payment system does not, however, unanimously, some recalcitrant regretting the loss of human exchange in favor of technology.

In a mobile market completely disrupted by the arrival of Free Mobile, Bouygues Telecom said it had lost 159,000 customers, of which 134,000 went to Free Mobile. This represents 1.4% of its fleet of 11.3 million mobile customers. Last week, Orange announced that it had lost, for its part, 201,000 mobile customers in total, or 0.7% of its fleet.

Result, Bouygues Telecom expects a decline of 10% of its turnover in 2012 to 5.14 billion euros. The arrival of Free Mobile is not the only cause. Martin Bouygues, CEO of the group, also cited pell-mell "regulation, the end of the differential termination, terminal costs, Chatel law which is one of the most protective for the consumer."

To resist, the group announced a plan to reduce costs this year. "Our goal is a plan to save 300 million euros, which will be achieved in part through new commercial offerings but also using our flexibility on external loads," said Martin Bouygues. The group, which has 9,800 employees in late 2011, should not undergo abrupt reduction of the workforce. "By cons, what is clear is that staffing levels, recruitment Bouygues Telecom are completely blocked (…). We will let the natural decline to do, "he said, adding that cost savings could affect contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.

"Free Mobile makes the cuckoo"

Bouygues Telecom is also focusing on innovation. The group decided to have a strong positioning in the offers "bare" (without telephone and commitment, 100% web) with B & You, and with the offers services through Eden. It will market its new box with the Sensation "the most powerful processor market and offers the largest VOD thanks to agreements with TF1," said Martin Bouygues. He announced that the band would embark on the next generation mobile (4G) this year and was pleased to have obtained frequencies' en o "- in the band 800 MHz – stressing" they allow a very good coverage inside buildings. "

Martin Bouygues has admitted that the offer of Free Mobile was very aggressive. "But it is by no means a reflection of its production costs. Free Mobile is the cuckoo on the Orange network, he said. The telecom industry is a fixed cost. If someone could have a variable cost structure, if there was distortion of competition, it would in my view extremely serious, "he added, without elaborating.

On the roaming agreement that allows to use the Free Mobile network Orange, Martin Bouygues considers it "would not be unusual that this contract be made public, since the two competitors know, and two others not." All these topics should be discussed at the meeting between Martin Bouygues Telecom and Constable (ARCEP). "If we must suffer and die, it will be the fault of the regulator," he concluded.

Yesterday, Bouygues share lost 2.09%, to 23.88 euros, while the action Iliad (Free) clôturait on a record 99.55 euros, up 2.10%.

Inequalities between men and women die hard. On wages, women continued to earn 20% less than men in 2009, INSEE said Wednesday in its latest publication on employment and wages. If this gap has narrowed significantly since 1954 (he was then 35%), it is virtually stagnant since the early 1990s.

This inequality is calculated based on hours of work the same for men and women. But if one takes into account the number of hours actually worked over the year, the gap increases again, due to the higher proportion of women working part-time while they earn nearly 30% of less than men. Positive, however, wage inequality tends to be reduced in less than 25 years.

INSEE explains this persistent inequality by "a qualifying structure" different from each sex. More men, for example, are managers (19% against 12% of women). Even within the same occupational category, inequalities remain payday loan online. And sometimes compounded: a female manager in the private sector and 23% earn less than men.

Involuntary part-time

This is partly the effect of the famous "glass ceiling" that prevents women from accessing certain positions. It is also, according to INSEE, the resulting choice of training, industries or career operated by women. Many of them, for example, moving towards the sectors of health or social work, pay less.

The highest proportion of female part-timers do not necessarily result also a choice, especially motivated by family reasons. Even among those who have no children, the proportion of part-time employees is 17% higher than that of men. A figure that reflects the overrepresentation of women in the service sector, where part-time is more widespread.

Airlines in the world play the shows. While the carbon tax was introduced on 1 January by the European Union in respect of all airlines that fly over the European area, the latter will be forced to carry them out in spring 2013. Time for States to shout out loud that "their" companies will not pay. India, Russia, China … a total of 26 members, not least, on 36 of the Aviation Organisation (ICAO) are resisting. In the U.S., the House of Representatives voted late last year to ban text to American companies to pay.

Like China, reiterated yesterday that his refusal to comply with European legislation, most Member States of ICAO criticize legislation "regional" which will result in new financial burdens. The system of emissions trading scheme set up by the Union provides that companies normally open in the coming weeks "Account" with their national administration of civil aviation and implement a system to measure their CO2 emissions.

Doubly penalized

In March 2013, then they should pay the amount corresponding to 15% of 2012 emissions by the amount per tonne of CO2. And China has calculated that his companies would have to pay 97 million euros for 2012 and four times in 2020. In total, the measure would cost € 705 million to companies in the world, still under 2012.

Penalties set by the Commision are of two types: a fine of 100 euros per tonne of CO2 emissions and, even more dissuasive, the flight ban in the European Union. But, meanwhile, out states may also set up an arsenal of retaliation. It may include trade measures in respect of Airbus, the European aircraft manufacturer, whose best customers are called China Southern, China Eastern and Air China but also India Indigo Air Asia or Malaysia.

Leaders of European companies fear they will be doubly penalized. First, because they are inherently more vulnerable to European tax. On the other hand, because they also fear being victims of these countries slingers. "These states may ask us to pay a landing fee that would offset the amount that our competitors outside Europe have to pay when coming home," is concerned officer of a company of the Old Continent. The European Commissioner for Climate Connie Hedegaard judge it just increase the ticket prices a few dollars to offset it. An argument inaudible at times of crisis.

However, companies seem to rely on the slow pace of international decisions for a relaxation of regulations occurring before the first deadline for payment of this tax, in principle the first quarter of 2013.

Football, video games, magazines, sofas on which to lie down to watch football matches, all swallowing hot dogs and chips at will. The best place of all men … at least according to Ikea. Diversify its funding sources to reduce dependence on banks: this is the objective of local government, at a time when bank credit is becoming scarcer. Tuesday, associations of elected officials have announced the creation of "a funding agency of local investment," the model of what is happening in Northern Europe. This vehicle will issue bonds on financial markets. It then lends to local authorities, medium and long term. To access these loans, municipalities, counties and regions in question will make a capital contribution to the agency. In a way, it is to launch "Eurobonds" across local authorities – even if the project was launched in 2009, before the debates which agitate Europe on the financing of its sovereign debt.

"Investors want to invest in the debt of French local authorities, which is very safe. But they have few means to do so, since only large communities issue bonds. We offer a suitable vehicle, "said Olivier Landel, Chief Executive of the Association of urban communities in France. Communities will therefore be the primary beneficiaries.

In addition, the agency should issue bonds at a good price. Elected officials hope that, despite the absence of government guarantee, the agency will be rated triple A by virtue of the quality of local debt (the latter must have an operating budget in balance) and mechanisms of solidarity between its members. Above all, the agency lend to municipalities, departments and regions, at a rate just higher than its own cost of funds – but different depending on the risk profile of each community. Because unlike banks, it is not intended nor need to secure substantial profits."The structure is light, with just 70 people to run," insists Jacques Pélissard, President (UMP) of the Association of Mayors of France.

Shortage of bank credit

"We hope to pass the legislation before the end of the year for the agency operates end of 2012. We are confident because the government views with favor the initiative, "said Jacques Pélissard. The first year, the agency should raise 800 million to one billion euros, sixty communities. Ultimately, elected officials are hoping that a quarter of 20 billion of annual funding needs of the communities will be ensured through it.

"The evolution of credit conditions shows that the agency is essential," says Michel Destot, Mayor (PS) in Grenoble and president of the Association of Mayors of major cities in France. In fact, the problems get worse.Haute-Savoie, St. Gervais-les-Bains had to give up an investment due to lack of adequate bank credit. A survey of the AMF, the local sector banks have responded that in 30% of the total volume requested by the communities. Some German banks come to the rescue, but this is not enough. The problem is more acute than that of toxic loans, which represent only 7 billion on a debt of 160 billion community. The government plans to use the Deposit to remedy the lack of funds.

This is a severe blow to Samsung and a victory for Apple. This may well be a mere confirmation of a judicial decision made in August, the pill is no less bitter for the Korean manufacturer who is outright ban the marketing of its top shelf, the Galaxy Tab 10.1. It "presents an overall appearance similar" to that of the iPad, according to the German judge seized of the matter.

Such a decision is worrying Samsung that focused on this tablet to boost this market. It means that beyond the patents on technical issues, courts are increasingly sensitive to another argument, visible to the naked eye: the appearance of the product design. The German decision comes two weeks after a Dutch court has taken a similar decision, and while litigation between Samsung and Apple are in the United States, Korea and Australia, where the Apple brand has already achieved a first favorable ruling.

For now, Samsung is still able to sell the Galaxy Tab in other European countries, and do not hesitate to do much advertising best payday advance. The Court of Düsseldorf has finally found not competent to prohibit the marketing of the Galaxy Tab across Europe. Nothing prevents Apple to take legal or other countries. The U.S. has also filed a complaint against Samsung for the same reasons, September 8 in Japan.

This offensive against Samsung, which is otherwise also one of its major suppliers, enabling Apple to establish its supremacy on the market shelves, which he holds from 70 to 80% with both iPad.The Galaxy Tab 10.1 was seen as the most serious rival. By preventing the market, Apple terminated the debate … that takes a different turn on the Internet, with netizens concerned about the relentlessness of Apple, who made his reputation by being the anti hegemony of Microsoft, which builds on present its own hegemony with a lot of trial and eco closed system.

After launching its offer in May with mobile calls, text messages and unlimited internet for 24.90 euros monthly subscribers to its box (and 49.90 euro for non-subscribers), Numericable goes further. Reportedly, the operator will now enable call abroad from the mobile unlimited. An option to pay 10 euros per month, which will be available as of September 19 for all.

"This is a world first, exclusive service and unprecedented," enthuses Jerome Yomtov, general secretary of Numericable. Over 100 countries are included in this offer, including most major destinations throughout Europe, the DOM, the United States, Canada, Asia.It is extended to calls to Morocco and Algeria for Numericable subscribers who have subscribed to the "Maghreb More" on the NCbox.

This new offering "world" not only to make calls to landlines abroad, but also to the Chinese mobile, U.S. and Canada. And supply expected to be enriched in the coming months. "You can call the U.S. since its unlimited mobile to 34.90 euros a month. United States, to call a mobile to mobile unlimited is $ 70. In short, it will be cheaper to call the U.S. from France, than to be there! "Said Jérôme Yomtov.

Numericable says the offer will be profitable. While the cost of communications decline in Europe and the world, he found a business model by negotiating agreements with major international operators such as Verizon, Telefonica, Cable and Wireless, Tata Communications.

One way to cut the grass under the feet of Free which means lower prices but also change the mobile uses. "This is the mobile revolution continues," trumpets for days on Numericable Tweeter … which led to his being sued by Free, which considers the term as its slogan identity. Atmosphere!
